About the salon

We would rather spend twenty minutes talking than five minutes fixing.

Maison Lune is four people in one long room on Princess Victoria Street. The windows face north, so the light stays soft and even all day, and colour looks the same in the chair as it will outside. We cut dry first, because hair falls differently when it is wet: shaping it the way you wear it means no surprises once it dries, and a cut that still looks considered eight weeks later. Then we wash, refine and finish. Nobody is rushed, and nobody is sold a product they do not need.

Kind words

Léa talked me out of a fringe, then cut a shape that still looks right two months later. The first salon where I have never felt rushed.
Hannah R. Restyle client since 2021
My balayage grew out so softly that I went four months between visits, and nobody noticed.
Priya S. Balayage client since 2019
They cut my curls dry and looked at how each one sits. I left with the same curls, only better behaved.
